issuing custom message while PO creation

Hi Experts,

I have added a custom tab in me21n - po creation, with some fields using exit EXIT_SAPMM06E_016 and EXIT_SAPMM06E_018.

No there are certain validation in the new custom field although i can issue the error message on the bottom of the screen, but I want to display the error message on the standard pop-alv screen,which is used by the standard program while creating PO,i am unable to find any such structure in any exit where I can append my custom messages, so that it can be displayed along with standard messages.Please help

Hi,

i can see couple of options..

1> show the message as information on the screen.

2> Create a custom screen as show in ALV.

once the user selects enter button be on the screen itself.
