Hi,

This problem comes whenever the memory is low.

So,log off n again log in.This will solve ur problem.

If the problem still persists then uninstall SAP GUI & again re-install.

In case if u r not getting the Graphical Painter after installing the GUI Patch.

Contact you basis person and ask him to open a port suppying information to GUI at front end. It needs to be done at SERVER end.

Check the RFC - EU_SCRP_WN32 destination in SM59.

Perform a "Test Connection": if the connection doesn't work maybe there is an issue in the connection between the presentation server and the application server.

Check if there is a firewall that blocks the port used by the RFC.

I have the same problem if I use a VPN connection to logon. The graphical screen-painter does not work...

Hope this will give you some help in resolving the issue.

If it still persists pl. write back to me.

Is there a way to chance the timeout limit of the connection?

We are having the same problem when using vpn, but also locally when the R/3 system is slow. That seems to be a timer issue. Don't you agree?

Check with whoever controls security for your system and make sure that there isn't an authorization issue. When we upgraded from R/3 to ERP2005, I had this problem as well. I seem to remember that it was somehow related to authorizations in the new system (despite the fact that I had been using the graphical editor in R/3). I hope this helps.

Hi,

See if you have latest patch ( I beleive at least you should Have 23 ). Then after loggin in again if you still can't see the graphical editor ,

go to utilities --> Settings. ( inside the se38 or se80 )

take the Screen Painter. See if the Graphical editor is checked. If not then check, If its checked, uncheck and check again.

This should work. Try and reward points if useful.

Hi,

All the above said are valid reasons due to which Screen Painter may not be displayed properly.

Memory being low may be the main reason. Check it out.

If you are on VPN connection, port with number "33<system number>" has to be openened in the server in order to display Graphical Screen Painter.

For example if your system number is "00" then you have to open the port 3300 to access Screen Painter from the server.

Hi Darshan, if you have still problem with your VPN & Screen Painter then try the above it will solve your problem.

Hema

Run SM59

then go to TCP/IP connections

Double click rfc EU_SCRP_WN32

on technical setting tab just check the value of Program

If it is ADAPTgnetx.exe then change it to gnetx.exe

Save RFC and check again.

Thanks.
