Issue in PFCG

Hi All,

Need your help.

When we are adding the transaction PC00_M08_RPCP60G0 in Menu tab in pfcg, it is not at all reflecting in S_TCODE (and even authorizations tab is not showing as red even though we add a transaction in menu). And once we remove it and then go into authoritarians and then come out then authorizations tab turning to red and if we see inside  again some authorization objects are missing say P_ORGINCON. After that if we add the transaction again in menu it is adding into S_TCODE.

1) no SU24 values for this transaction

2) profiles are properly properly generated

3) Only one S_Tcode object is there which is standard and no manual added one.

Why dont you try adding another s_tcode and putting value as the tcode that you mentioned?

We can go for that. But we not use S_TCODE manually as it wont pull the authorization objects.

and more over we need to identify what the issue here is ?

Could we know the SAP system (Version) you are using, I tried to check this tcode in ERP EHP6 system and could not find it.

In anyways, entry into S_TCODE happens by default and your issue looks strange, please provide above details so that I can check it for you.

I actually observed one thing.

These is one more transaction in that role. For that proposal values are different compare to Dev system and in training system.

We are actually adding the new transaction in training system only.

So difference in proposal values creating this issue ? if yes, why the roles still contain those objects (in which proposal values are marked as NO)

Why dont you try this on a completely new role and see how this works.

Did you use expert mode with third option to generate your role. If you still see objects there which are not supposed to be in as per proposal values in SU24, it can be the case that those objects have manual or changed status. Also ensure there  are no other tcodes in the menu which also uses same objects.

Coming to your original query, S_TCODE is always updated when ever you add a tcode into the menu without any exceptions.

Hi Sankar,

I had this issue in my new APO system, I think it is product error . But there is way for us to mitigate it as I have already mentioned earlier. If you find its not product error, but something configuration - do let me know.
