Issue in copying module pool screen from one program to different program

Hi All,

I have downloaded a module pool screen 100 from program sapmzabc from one system.

Now i created a screen 100 just gave description in module pool program sapmzxyz in different system .

Note the 2 systems are different.

Then i uploaded the screen 100 . Now on uploading it is creating screen for sapmzabc not sapmzxyz.

If i edit the downloaded screen 100 in notepad by replacing sapmzabc with sapmzxyz , then on uploading it gives

"Screen header incomplete: Program name or screen number missing" .

I checked replaced the program name exactly 2 places .

So how can i copy this screen from one system to another having different names.

Kindly please suggest.

After replacing the name you need to make sure to respect the spaces

Hi,

Do you mean to say is if put in place of abc the word adcde.

So i should remove 2 spaces after abcde.

Whether my understanding is correct ?
