Hi All,

Is Java stack mandatory to generate the webservice in ECC 6.0 ?

We are getting the following error in ECC 6.0 while activating the webservic:

1. Error during activation of webservice

2."Error occurred when processing Service Provider metadata"

Exception of class CX_ESD_EXCEPTION

We have tried using SE37 and SE80, but both ways same error.

Will it require any configurations data or any files or any thing need to be checked ?

Please let me know.

Appreciate ur help.

Thanks,

Ramesh

Java stack is not needed to generate and consume web service. But if you would like to test it locally then you need that.

Hi,

We are able to convert the BAPI to webservice from SE37 and activate it successfully.

But we are not finding the same webservice in WSADMIN to generate the WSDL.

If we need to generate WSDL from WSADMIN in ECC 6.0. Do we need to have Java stack in ECC6.0 ?

Thanks,

Ramesh
