Is it possible to put side info table into C program?

Hi all,

I'm totally new to SAP and ABAP Programming and I have situation that my C-program should contain communication-specific parameters.

So my question is:

Is it possible (if yes, how?) to eliminate side info tables file?

Same, with other words:

Can I put content of SIDEINFO.DEF into my C code? How?

Please help!

Hi,

welcome to SDN.

Unfortunately here are more ABAP then C experts. So what is the side info? From your description, I guess it's a part of the definition of the access to SAP.

But more or less surely no one understood your question, please explain more.

Thank you for replay!

Well, I'm using RFC API to communicate with SAP from C programm.

In that context is usually used file SIDEINFO ...

Yesterday I found finally answer on my question on following place:
