Is Enhancement Spot Program Specific ?

Hello,

I was trying to create Z Enhancement spot, Enhancement point and its implementation. I was getting the Information message again and again with the content as 'Defines an enhancement spot in another object'.

I need to know is that whether the Enhancement spots are Program specific ?

Same question was also asked by some other member in 2012 on SCN but i did not find any option to recall a question in SCN so posting it here .
