Invoice items in VBUP ?

Dear community,

I am not so familiar with the VBUK/VBUP table and seek some information on the content. I can see that in VBUK table (Header level) there are invoice document headers listed, but in VBUP Table I only see items for sales orders and delivery documents. Is this correct or should invoice items also be listed in VBUP ?

Thanks for a quick answer ?

Ralph

Hi Ralph,

When you create a sales order, you would have a header and mayb multiple line items for this sales order. The header details are placed in the table VBUK and all the line items for the sales order are stored in the table VBUP.

Thanks

Dear community,

thanks for the answers, but I am still missing some information. I will try to ask more specifically:

- If I list the entries for VBUK, I will find in Column VBELN the document numbers for sales orders and deliveries (e.g.), but also for invoices, each in incrasing number according to the assigned number ranges. Example number range for invoices is starting with 0090000000.

- If I list my table VBUP, I again find the in column VBELN the document numbers for sales orders and deliveries, together with the item numbers. But I do not find any entries for the invoices (no document number entries)

My question is: Is this normal because the invoice document numbers are not included in VBUP or am I missing entries in the table ?

Hope this helps clarify the question.

Thanks
