Internal table joins?

With this new expressions available in 7.40, is it possible to create an internal table, by joining multiple internal tables (inner /outer join)?

no, itabs can not be joined.

Yes, that's what triggered my question. There are CORRESPONDING, FOR, WHERE syntaxes, which work with internal tables, and looks like the way to go, to create a join between internal tables. But, I couldn't figure out how.

I think what you are looking for is "meshes":

Yes, Meshes also provide association methods. But, how to do a join and create a new internal from that, is what I am looking for.

As i have told, i have not used "meshes" and have no idea how they work. Maybe you should play around with the SAP demo program.

your right... looks like i was blind.

looking at the examples out there you can join internal tables.

where you also able to find out something about the performance?

join via selects or using meshes, what is better?
