Can anyone tell me abt outbound and inbound interface?

HI,

Outbound Interface: Interface b/w SAP and Other systems. Data needs to flow from SAP to external systems.

Inbound interface: Its just the reverse way.

Do we need ftp or something as that sort?

inbound and outbound already defined above.

for this we need two protocol

1. transport protocol and

2. message protocol

first one for transporting and second for conversion.

so it may be possible that we may require FTP its depends on application.
