hi is there any way to capture the entire row value when we click on the first list becoz depending on 2 fields values i want to display data in the second list.

currently i am using the following method but it is capturing only 1 field value.

ra_selfield type slis_selfield.

perform data_retrieval using RS_selfield-Fieldname RS_selfield-value.

i want to pass entire row fields to perform data_retrieval.

plz its urgent.

Hi,,

Check this example fo interactive ALV..Initially the sales orders will be displayed..There will be a hotspot for the sales order number..If you press it , the sales order line items will be displayed..

use the selfield-tabindex to get the index..And use READ TABLE with that index to get the entire row value..

If you are OO-alv try this method to get row values.


  CALL METHOD W_GRID->GET_SELECTED_ROWS
    IMPORTING
      ET_INDEX_ROWS = PT_ROW.
* Filter records valid for update
  LOOP AT TL_ROW ASSIGNING <L_ROW>.

    READ TABLE ITAB ASSIGNING <L_ITAB>
                      INDEX <L_ROW>-INDEX.

    CHECK SY-SUBRC = 0.
<b>*-- Do your processing here</b>
ENDLOOP.

Hi,

In OOPS ALV,you can use get_selected_rows method of cl_gui_alv_grid class to track the row you selected.

Hi Ravi,

what can you do is like you can read the internal table which you displayed in ALV into work area using value getting from structure rs_selfield.

may be u can use tabindex field of structure slis_selfield. and then read internal table based on this index.
