integer counter giving error

hi all,

I am using the following logic for counter:

data: count type i.

count = count + 1.

but when the value gets to double figures i.e. 10 for count then the count value becomes *. giving error at this stage.

Any suggestions. Thanks.

Define the Counter with numeric field.

Is this the whole coding or anything left out? What error message are you getting?

Do 111 times.

count = count + 1.

enddo.

write:/ count.

Just u declare like this

data : lv_count(10) type c.

lv_count = lv_count + 1.

The problem will be solved.
