Inserting internal table records to another System Client Table

Hello experts,

I wanted to know if it's possible to copy records from one table of one system to another through ABAP, i know about the SE10 can help you to achieve this but with tables not internal. I want to copy my internal table records to another table system client e.g.

internal_table records (system DR client 200) to system QR client 100.

Is it even possible?

If not could you give a few suggestions of how could i achieve this?

Hi Miguel,

If you want to achieve it through ABAP, then you might create a simple RFC-enabled function module in the target system which inserts/modifies your data. Then, in the source system you can call this function module and pass the data accordingly.

As a pre-requisite, an RFC destination which represents your target system should be maintained in the source system (transaction SM59).

That would mean having that RFC on every single system correct? is there any other way to achieve this without using a RFC?

Yes, you are right - an RFC destination per each system.

You can actually use another integration technology to transfer data from one system to another - like IDOCs, proxies, custom-built files (via server or frontend).... but all of them would require either a batch job or an explicit run of a function module/report. RFC seems to be the simplest way if you can have a direct connection.
