Insert Change Log for Custom Field

Hi all,

I have appended a custom field for table VBEP.

Now I need to record the change for this field in the standard change log table CDHDR & CDPOS.

Could anybody provide me any function modules or sample code to do that?

Hi,

If your requirement is just to track all changes on that field then you dont need any code to do this.Just check the option of the "change document" in the data element which is been used by the field.But make sure that the data element is used only by this field.In case you are using some Z report to track this then you can refer the Function group "SCD0".
