Input-on text in classical reports

Hi Experts,

I have Classical Report i am using input on for one field ...after display the report my Requirement is if enter correct value then save it is working if enter wrong value it will show the error message ...if i enter wrong value then once user click enter not getting error message.how to get

Hi,

at what event are you triggering the error message?

is it At Selection Screen Output?

Hi,

I want to error message in Classical Report output Level , not in selection screen level...
