Infotype not taking data type INT2

hi all,

I am trying to create an infotype. in the structure of the i am giving the data type of a field as INT2. when i try to generate the infotype, it is giving me an error saying that an infotype cannot contain an INT or float data types. why can i not use INT2 in an infotype? any help will be appreciated.

and decide can be enhanced.
