Infinite loop in BI system...

Hi Folks,

I am trying to debug first time in BI system. There is an extractor which is fetching data from CRM system. Now the issue is when i am running RSA3 in CRM system, I am getting 400 records. But when i run the transaction RSA1 for the same source in BI system, it is going into infinite loop.

Can anybody please tell me the reason for this. I checked in SM50, and everytime it is holding either on SAPMSSY1 program at the statement "RSYN >SCONT SYSC ...." or on program 'SAPLTHFB'.

Hi archna,

do more research on the extractor. It has been discussed here that a SELECT ... FOR ALL ENTRIES IN ... may cause an infinite loop if not all key fields are extracted.

SAPMSSY1 is a system program handling the RFC request, SAPLTHFB is SM50 itself.

Check in source system (CRM)

- iDOC (WE05, WE06 or BD87)

- batch running (SM37, jobs BIREQU* or similar)

Hi,

I am getting the following message in BI system :

Diagnosis

No errors found. The current process has probably not finished yet.

System Response

The ALE inbox of BI is identical to the ALE outbox of the source system

or

the maximum wait time for this request has not yet been exceeded

or

the background job has not yet finished in the source system.

Current status

Data packets were found that have not yet been rea

Can anyone please help me in knowing the reason for this.....
