Indirect Role Assignment

Hello,

I am trying to do a indirect role assignment in my ECC system.

I am going to PFCG >go to> org Mgmt and choose position and enter the position ID and assign it to a particular role and do a reconciliation.

I want know, is there a report which assign this automatically or do we need LSMW or ecatt to run this.

If the roles you need to assign to positions number in the 100's or 1000's, do it in secatt.

If there are large number of roles need to be assigned, then go for SECATT

do you have any ecatt for this which I can reuse, I don't know how to use ecatt

Hi,

I do have SECATT scripts, but these are specific to my business requirements and my client. I wont ' think it will work out for you. a normal script contains, a script with in the SAP system and then excel file for data.

if you want to learn and upgrade the knowledge, try your self and create scripts. try/practice it in Dev system, then move it to QA. and then PRD. SECATT scripts creation is very simple. there are step by step guides available and the system it self will guide you on errors.
