incorrect code page error in SE63

Hi ,

I need to translate my smartform to different languages. i am using SE63.

my source language is EN and target language is KO.

Its giving error "incorrect code page".

How to resolve this..

Chek whether the KO is maintained or not. And give ur smartform name in capital letters otherwise erroe will come.

Hi Manas,

You should check with Target language name, it is not maintained, it will give you error.

Take F4 help for target language and check its entry in that.

When you are trying to enter target language, press F4 and you will get all tha languages maintained in that window.

Are you entering this target language directly as 'KO' ???

Or you are trying to select it from help by pressing F4 for target language?

You might get error if you are entering it directly as 'KO'.

Ok,

So this is not a problem with language. This must be problem with smartform name.

Are you trying to translate whole smarform in other language or just a test from smarform?

Check with the smartform name you are giving.

Check that in ur text module source language in en.

If it is en there then put source language EN and target language KO

then click on edit you can give translation there.

sometimes it says code not found ,then u check it u can create new textmodule and then test.

i am changing some texts in smartform.

in SE63 source and target language are in display mode so we cant enter we have to use F4 help.

still i get this error...My smartform name is ZZMEDRUCK_ASIAPAC.

Hi Manas,

If you are trying to change some text modules, you can directly give text module name instead of smartform name.And then you can edit it and include it in your TR.

If you are using text elements, create text modules instead of text elements and try using above method.

Check once again if you smartform is in active state or not.

Select the object name from the F4 help i.e you smartform name ZZMEDRUCK_ASIAPAC after that give the source language & target language

in se63 is the source and target language in display mode always...

Hi Manas,

In se63 screen itself, in object tab, u ll have one more field 'Translation Area'. Where you need to enter value as 999999, fixed for ABAP system.

This field is missing in your screen.

I really wonder how come this is happening.

I think it might be a problem because of this reason.

added desired language using report RSCPINST (see SAP note 42305).

You have to provide the Text Module name in CAPs. If not you will face this error. This error does not have any connection with Languages.
