Inbound file processing!

Hello all,

A quick question. In inbound idoc file processing which port is mandatory to fill? Is it the receiver port or the sender port in EDIDC segment?

I am asking this because, I had filled up the receiver port and created file port ZCLR.

EDI: Receiver port in control record is invalid

Message no. EA602

Diagnosis

An error was identified in the control record while adding an inbound IDoc. The recipient ID is invalid:

The receiver port has an invalid value: ZCLR

Procedure

Please inform your system administrator.

Can anybody help me over this please?

Thanks,

Hi Lavanya,

it is the problem with the rfc destination.you have to give the rfc name only in port creation which is case sensitive.

let me know wheter you are using customizing idocs.

reward points if helpful.
