Inbound ALEAUD processing

Could anyone please guide me to develop this?

I need to catch all inbound Idocs with basic type ALEAUD01 and logicall message type ALEAUD and put them in the workflow.

I was told to create custom message type, custom process code, and custom function module (copied from FM IDOC_INPUT_ALEAUD). Insert this custom process in partner profile (inbound) so it can catch them.

Could you please tell me more about this to make sure I am heading in the right direction?
