I have one bdc.I want to fill one field with null values. that field already having values. how can i do?

when u do recording just delete that value and put it blank..........

in recording it will so u blank.......................

Hi,

Before passing the value to the BDCDATA structure, you will pass that field, so before passing that value check that field, if the value is not initial, then pass Null to it.

IF NOT FIELD is initial.

FIELD = SPACE.

ENDIF.

hi,

u said that field is already having values so in that bdc when u r passing values to that particular screen manually pass '0' to that field so that u can override its previous value.

during runtime try to change the field value of the internal table for that particular screen ,or change that particular field value in your flat file.

In your BDC, Replace null/space in place of the value against the field name. just simple
