Importing request in Quality system

Dear All,

I have released request from my development box and wants to move to Quality box. The request is already in import queue of Quality Box.

Kindly let me know how to move this request from quality box to Quality system.

In transaction STMS, if i click on Import Request button, i get a pop up screen with three tab strips.

In first tabstrip Date, can i select "Immediate"?

In second tabstrip Execution, can i select "Synchronous"?

In third tabstrip Options, there are many checkboxes? Kindly let me know which check boxes to select to import the request in quality box.

Could you please answer my above mention questions and guide me if i am on right track?

Hi

1.You can select IMMEDIATE

2.if you wants to put in background, select Asynchronous

other wise select Synchronus for online

3. Based on your requirement you can select the checkboxes, they are nothing

but the Update Modes.

As you mentioned, checkboxes are nothing but update modes.

Can i directly import my request from import queue without selecting any checkbox?

Will it get imported?

Hi,

Click on Immediate & then on Asynchronous updates.

Then click on referesh 4-5 times .. an TR would be imported to Quality.

if you r a ABAPer than this is not your job to do,this is completely a BASIS people work,you released the request ,after that all the job should be handle by the BASIS people.

If you r a BASIS guy than i dont know the procedure to do this.

I have a few question on STMS.

When we opne the STSM transaction we can see ECD,ECP,ECQ.

On Double clicking each we can see a list requests respective to Dev,Qual and Production.

Does the requests list in the respective Servers indicates that these are the requests that had been transported successfully and available in the respective servers?

What does the following statuses say:-

1.Request is already imported.

2.Request is ready for import again.

3.Request waiting to be imported.
