Import E-Mails and display in Web UI

Hi guys,

I want to import E-Mails with filetype .eml from an external system into SAP CRM
and display the content of those E-Mails in the Web UI.

I was searching the web for quite a while now but could not find anything helpful. Maybe you guys have a clue.

Is it possible to import eml files and store them in CRM just like incoming mails that are automatically processed by the system via erms? I did not find any helpful classes or function modules that could support me.
It is not necessary to keep the files in .eml format. I think I will have to convert them as I want to display the content in WebUI.

Any help is appreciated.
