hello all,

If a company is implementing new sap system,then what could be the role of a secuity team initialyy?what type of work he has to perform from scratch till production?

some one please clear my doubt

1.data backup.

2.maintain backup data.

You have to work all ,Users,authrization,roles ,profiles creation.

It should from the scratch ,i mean you need to give specific authrization to endusers.

There are so many sap transactions ,suppose warehouse area ,there should be users ,you need to give warehouse module specific transaction to that guy.

Following are the responsibilites:

<b>Before Data Migration</b>

1. Ensure that Critical data is not shared or accessible to all but only the required few

2. Authorization to existing/legacy system restricted

<b>During Data Migration</b>

1. The data which is downloaded is accessible to only the select few

After Implementation

1. Authorization to various transactions

2. Authroizaton to users as per their role

3. Authorization for transports

You need to set up process eg. approvals etc. ,if any of the user requires access to critical transactions/data/printers etc

Ensure no one is sharing the data or misusing the data, Inform everybody @ the same & take preventive action for the same.
