Hi,

i have some doubt on idocs.we have one outbound program.so after executing that program , if we see that idoc in we 02 ,from the data records we are taking the packing instruction number(PI).when we observe that PI no in POP3 transaction we have found that the dimensions are different with those in we02.

that is if we have dimension for that PI no in POP3 is in INCHES.it is showing in that idoc as MTR (meters) .so in that idoc also it should show as INCHES.

so can anyone please explain where the error may be,as i am new for this idocs plz explain me in brief.

regards,

rakesh.

Hi,

I think some where these inches are getting converted to meters according to iso standards. sap will automatically convert them.

You have to find an exit where can write your code to over write this.

Have a talk with your Functioanl people also.

Sasi

Hi,

Check what is the base unit of measure for the amterial. Also, check if there are any alternative unit of measures ?

I guess you have maintained conversion by maintaining numerator and denominator in alternative unit of measure option.
