can u tell me what is ' M ' at the end of E1MARAM .can u tell me why we have to use that(M).

Hi,

the trailing 'M' indicates "master", i.e. kind of "full blown" data, as opposed to "core" data. Compare WE30, IDoc type MATCOR01, segment type E1MARAC, vs. MATMASnn, segment type E1MARAM.

As far as I know, just a convention.

hi,

i think it is the segment for Master material general data (MARA) Manager.

I checked thru WE60,there is no any specfic meaning mentioned there.
