why we will attach process code for sales order , purchase order in outbound idoc ?plz explain me clearly.

using the process code only selection programs are fetched & application datas are converted into Idoc format.

Hi,

Process code is to determine which process is used to convert an IDoc to an SAP document.

It triggers the related function module.

WE41 and WE42 are used to create them for inbound and Outbound codes.

Using the process code, the IDoc interface finds the application selection module which converts the SAP document into an IDoc.
