Can any body plz tell in which table are the " Idoc segments" stored.

EDIDC Control record (IDoc)

Hi,

In Idoc under the Basic Type we have certain fields, Under each segment we have few fields, I would like to know the table where in i can see the Idoc segment fields for that particular segment with fields and the data in those fields.

Hi,

Go to Table EDID4 and there give the DOCNUM(IDoc number) and see all the segments and its fields data.

If you are asking about where the segment meta data stored then each segment will have a structure created in Data Dictionary.

If you are asking where the IDOC data is stored then it is EDID4 table.

go to Tcode we31

Put cursor on input field of segment type and press F1 , goto Technical Information , check the screen fields SED4STRUC-OBJECT now goto se11,and give SED4STRUC in data type and say display..click on component type EDILSEGTYP again click on domain EDILSEGTYP , click on value range, u can see value table EDISEGMENT , double click on EDISEGMENT --- EDISEGMENT this is a table in which your segment is stored.
