IDOC segment

Hi guys,

I am talking about Custom built IDOC.

I am not able to dsiplay/change the segment in WE31. Neither i am able to create the same.

On the other way around, as the segment exits as structure it show in dictionary. But system does not allow me to modify/delete the structure using Data dictionary and display this can be done only thru segment editor.

and again in segment editor i am not able to display nor create.

what do you think the problem could be!

whats the message you re getting in WE31? is the segment released?

I am on test system.

When i try to display segment, its says not found.

when i try to change/do something else it says it already exists.

Confused !*?&!

may be you have released it once released you cant change it

What do you see in WE31 when you enter the segment name there>?

Yes sounds funny,

when i try to display all the imput fields turn red in color saying segment does not exits.

at the same time when try to change/create it says you cannot create as it already exists.

I could rebuild it provided isystem allows me to delete! i am in a fix.

This is something i coud never imagine would happen!!

what do you see after just pressign enter in We31 and specifying the segment name
