Idoc processing!

Hello all,

During Idoc processing in SAP (inbound), if system crashes in the middle of processing, say, after processing 100 idocs, what happens to the processed idocs? Will they be posted?

Thanks,

Hi Somen,

The processed IDocs should be fine prior to crashing system. But if you are not sure, you can reprocess again. Depending on the message type, it allows to repost the IDocs otherwise you may get IDoc with status 51 for duplicate process or already exists.

Hope this will help.

Idoc processing modules issue commit work after processing each idoc, idocs processed before crash are safe.
