Hi All,
I have created a new process code and linked message type MBGMCR gto the process code. I have tested the processing of and IDOC for this message type and it works fine.
I have also created a new mesage type based on MBGMCR that I have also link to the new process code. I have gone through all the interface customising to setup the new message type. I have linked an IDOC type to the new message type, assigned the function module to the message type/ Idoc type, and finally added the message type to the new process code.
In testing the new message type, the IDOC is failing with an IDOC Interface is not complete message in the IDIC status record. In debugging function module BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1, the function fails in the check for an entry in TBDBA. Does anybody know how this entry is created. Have a missed a step in my interface setup?
Any help would be appreciated.
Best regards,
James Mandikos.

I am not in front of the system and don't recollect how to set up this entry, but you can try one thing.
Go to SM30 and enter this table, do 'Maintain' and see if it allows you to do that. If it allows, just enter the record and save it.

Hi Srinivas,
The table does not have tables maintenance. Also, I think the message type needs to be linked tgo a business object. I'm not sure how to do this.

Hello James,
In We42 Tcode, select your process code.
Double click to get details, In Identification you will see the Function Module or BAPI.
Click on the Button next to it, maintain Object type for application object etc.
