IDOC documentation in WE60

Hi,

In 4.6C documentation for IDOCS(WE60) we used to have a much more detailed explanation for fields.

eg:(As far as I remember). If we check for documentation of basic type MATMAS03, for field MEINH(Alternate UOM) it is clearly mentioned that this should be populated only if MEINS( Base UOM) is not present.

In 4.7 we dont have details to this level.

So where can a developer find such details when he is writing programs for IDOCs in 4.7?

Any pointers to such documentation would be of great help. TIA.

I haven't the solution to your probleme.

But I suggest you, to use the "<i>Interface repository</i>".

It's accessible at <b>http://ifr.sap.com</b>

It's very useful for IDOC documentation.

Hello Sajith,

Needless to worry about this. You can get all the information you need, even in 4.7.

1. In the initial screen for WE60, use the menu option <i>Goto-->User Settings</i>.

2. On the following screen, theck the options <i>Documentation Output</i> and <i>Field Value Output</i>.

3. Save the values and come back. Now go to the documentation. I'm sure you'll find the necessary information.

This option exists in 4.6C also. But seems like it is checked by default in that. Here you might have to do it explicitly.
