HUPAST scale interface

Hi all,

I need to set an interface between transaction HUPAST of R/3 and a scale that is connected to a desktop.

The aim is to retrieve the weight in HUPAST by pressing a button.

I know this can be achieved by setting a RFC destination and so on.

But the SAP help mentions that I need to install on the desktop a program called "Scale_for_R3.exe".

Unfortunately, I am unable to find it !

Can you help ?

Is the problem solved if so could you tell me how? Even I am having the same same kind of problem.

Could you even send me the steps how the integration to the scale interface was done.

Go to service.sap.com/scm and follow the links in warehousing. You can download the documents & software for connecting scales.

Might be a bit late but I found scale_for_r3.exe at:

You can go to service.sap.com/scm

Click on Warehousing and scroll to the bottom and then click on the "here" link under Warehouse Management Solution Library.

Select the "Packaging Station - Connecting Scales (Software, Document)" link to start the download.
