Hi Gurus,

Am updating the infotype 0581 through z program. Through that infotype am updating Rent amount. It is displaying an error message Rent amount required is 0. When am updating the Rent through standard Tcode pa30 then am getting warning messages

" No automatic Updation for IT0008. Calculation method not found” And “Eligibility amount for HRA/CLA/COA is zero for employee 00020005 on 01.04.2007" .

Can anyone please help regarding this how to solve this problem.

Points will be awarded

Thanks

We have 4 wage types for House Rent Allowance.

0300 House Rent All.(Variable)

0310 House Rent All.(20%)

0320 House Rent All.(25%)

0330 House Rent All.(30%)

But the Housing Infotype 0581 is considering only one wage type 0310 out of these 4 in its eligibility wage type for HRA Exemption.

Thus the employees who have 0310 WT for HRA are getting exemption and the others are not. All other enteries in 0581 remaning the same for these i.e. rented acco, rent amount, check on hra to be tax exempt.

so can you check with HR Function whether the Employee Groups are proparely customised and assigned propare wage types which includes the above also ...

simply goto PA30 for one employee

see the infotype 0008 check whetherhe has HRA and its wge type if not then do F4 in the Wage type field in the table control .... if the wage tupe for HRA is not in th F4 list also then ...... never ever you can work IN 0581 infotype...

first of all the logic is the employee should have HRA thne only it matters for HRA-RENT and all ...ok ...

so HRA should be there in the IT0008 ... if not then you will get errors in th IT0581 .

Hi Girish,

Thanks for your reply. But in infotype 8 the HRA wage type is coming. What might be the problem for this? Is there to change any settings for that?

Thanks
