how to write message in sub screen

Recently, I have a request to show data in sub screen. But the problem is that the format of showing data must like the one we use write code to perform it. For example , like the code "write:/1(30) 'please wait for a second..'". IF anyboby have idea how to make it work? Thanks a lot!
