how to upload multiple files using FTP

Hi friends,

I am Saurav. I am new to FTP programming. I need to upload 10 files from desktop to ECC 6.0 using FTP . I searched all the posts in SCN , but i did not get the solution on how to upload multiple files to SAP using FTP. Please provide sample code if possible.

may I ask why you have to use FTP for an Upoad from a Desktop to the SAP Application Server?
