How to transport SQL Query from SQVI Tcode?

Can any one tell me how to transport SQL Query from <b>SQVI</b> Tcode.

I tried the program by giving the SQL query name, It is showing "No objects selected".

Can you help me why no objects are selected.

go to sqvi tool .....

select u r query name ......in the menubar ....quickview....> additianal functions.......>generate program

after doing generate program ....go to again same menu path as i have mentioned above [quickview....> additianal functions.......>display report name it will give the report name of the select query ..........copy the report name and give it abap editor[se38] u will get u r query program......with all authority checks.....

in start of selection event of u r program u will find u r select query.

Hi Ravi ,

Please follow below mentioned path to find the SQL statement corresponding to a SQVI query :-

Transaction SQVI -> Select the SQVI Query -> Quick View (Top left) -> Additional Functions -> Display report Name .

This will give you report name corresponding to SQVI Query. Then goto SE38 give the report name and press F7 .

Usually the first FM call in "start-of-selection" will have the desired SQL statement, so double click on the FM and search for SQL statement .
