How to terminate IDOC processing ?

Hi,

I have an Inbound IDOC scenario.

When the SAP-standard IDOC is triggered, it tries to update a Z-custom table using data in extension Z-segment.

If the update on Z-table fails, I wish to stop the stndard IDOC processing immediately and change the IDOC status to error.

How can I do it.

Is there any exit which can help me hat you guru know of.

What IDOC message type are you using?

HI,

The logical message type is OILCRE( IS-OIL Vendor Master).

Hi

After all the segments are processed then there has to be an exit just before the application document posting. Here you can make an entry for the status record if there is any problem with the table update.
