How to save data in Excel file in Background processing

Hi,

I have one report program which produces a report of sales orders. I want that transaction to run every night in background(without manual interface) and output list should get saved in Excel file on my PC.

Hi,

you can move the file to your prez server using transaction ..CG3Y.

or

loop at itab1.

SPLIT itab1 AT '' INTO itab-field1 itab-field2 itab-field3 .

append itab.

endloop.

''-->delemeter

or

use that logic for splitting:

normaly it doesn't work in background,

But there is one solution shown by Srilatha Thirukkovalluri.
