How to physically delete classification record from the database?

we make change to classification data using engineering change management. It is possible to delete such classification record from the database once it has been processed using engineering change management? I know a lot BAPIs (BAPI_OBJCL_DELETE, LFM_DELETE_CLASSIFICATION etc) for deleting the classification. but the record is remaining existing in database. I would appreciate any feedback.

I think you cannot delete the record physically, the assignment will only be set ( deletion indicator ).

thanks, i also got such information from google. But i'm little bit confused. Why does SAP allow to delete BOM using engineering change management and not for classification? what a motivation? there must be a way to restore the Object like the status before classification.

Not sure that this is possible, usually SAP set a deletion flag which allow archiving. So take a look at SARA or DB15 transaction once deletion flag are set, but usually archiving/deletion are only allowed when the main object behind is archived too.
