How to pass configuration data to bapi

Hi Guys,

I am extending the sales area for an existing customer. Now while creating sales area in screen level, few data automatically fills up the input fields which is due to config setting done by functional people. Now while extending sales area through bapi how can i pass the config detailsi.

I am using cmd_ei_api=>maintain_bapi for extending the sales area for a particular customer. Kindly let me know how to pass the config details
