how to install sample source code

Hi, I have installed mini SAP, but it didn't have database, how can I install the database and sample source code.

By database, do you mean generating the flight data in tables SFLIGHT, SBOOK? If so, just use the SAPBC_DATA_GENERATOR program to generate the data.

MiniSAP there are 2 CDS,

The KERNEL CD contains the files for the Kernel and the Frontend (SAPGUI). The DATA CD contains the compressed contents of the SAP database.

Hi Susan,

U have to run the following program to generate the data in mini SAP.

Go to transaction SE38 and write the name as under.

S_FLIGHT_MODEL_DATA_GENERATOR

and press F8 to run this program.

This will ask u for how much data u want.

Choose any one acc. to urs System Requirement.

Hope this will work 4 u.

This really helps, but another question: when I use SE16 to view the contents, system pop up" No changes on SAP object allowed". pls find the solution.

Hi Susan,

First of all sorry for such a long delay.

As u r using Se16 Which is meant for both Viewing the contents as well as create table entry........

Which is not allowed in Mini SAP..As u can't change the contents of SAP tables. but u can view them by using Transaction Se12.
