Hi all,
I have one file say 'xyz' in al11 directory say 'a/b/c'.
I want to find out the report name that has generated this file or may be placed in this directory.
Any pointer will be helpful.

by use the date and time u can find
what all program r used in that date and time...

Go to the first screen of SE38.
Utilities > Find in source code.
There you give the 'xyz' or the logical file name and search.

Sorry Swastik, it's not working.
It is giving following msg...
'There is no program/include for xyz'.

Using the timestamp of the file you can search the audit log (SM20). This log traces all program executions and downloads (among other things).
