Hi experts,
Can you please tell me how to find whether a program is giving a "DUMP" or not?
i cannot user transaction STO1 because,
i want to develop a program which tell us whether particular program submitted as input will give "DUMP" or not.
if i execute that program which is giving "DUMP" from my program than even my program terminates,
and i dont want to run "DUMP" program first and read entry from ST01.
because my program itself will tell whether it will give dump or not.
is there any event which allow me to skip from the DUMP screen just b4 dump come and inform me about about the DUMP.
Please help.

Hi,
What you are looking for seems a little unrealistic from the point that SAP produces a dump ONLY when it comes across a syntax or exception which it cannot handle.
If SAP were able to realize that a program was going to dump before the program is executed, then I am sure SAP would have included this "check" functionality within the Syntax Check for objects.
Hence dumps are mostly generated due to errors in runtime environment.
Cheers,
Aditya

That's common sense that SAP can not give DUMP in advance,
i am not talking about getting DUMP b4 execution,
i want to execute DUMP program from my program such that my program should not get terminate even if the program(which i will execute from my program) is having DUMP.
i think now you know what i want exeaclty.
