Hello,
Sorry if this is more simple than I am making it...
I've been asked to disable some ABAP programs so that users cannot access them either via a report tree or using transaction SA38.
I can obviously remove these from the user's report tree but, as some of our 'power' users have access to SA38, I need to prevent them running from these programs.
We do not want to delete these programs as we think that we may reinstate them at a later date.
Can anyone please advise me how to go about this?
Many thanks,
Keiron.

Hi
You are having 2 options either export or save it as a local file and use it when ever you want to execute or contact your system administrator he might give you the correct solution where he can simply block the reports from access to your power users if possible.
Or he can block the authorizations from access.
Cheers!!

Hi,
you can implement an authorization groups for this report inside the parameters.
If the customer don´t have the authorization for this, he can´t run the report.

Hi,
Create a authorization for the user group and don't give access to the users, when ever it is required you can give access.
OR
Ask your basis guys not to give permission to access to any users.
Thanks,
Sriram Ponna.
