How to delete HR master data using ABAP

Hi,

Is there a FM or process defined for deleting HR master data?

During our hiring process an employee is created and locked but can then be rejected at a later stage.

I need to remove all data for this employee. Can this be done in code or do I need to get HR to run a report to clear them from the system?

You can use FM "HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION" to delete infotype records using "DEL" for deleting. Also check tcode "PU00" to delete the employee . Refer to following link:

Hi Rob,

If u want to delete the master data of an employee -

PA30 - select infotype - press the delete button or Press (shift+F2) from key board.

Or

If u want to delete the personnel number -  enter T Code PU00  - enter personnel number which u want to delete.
