friends,

There is an exit developed to include a subscreen in a standard screen. The layout, flow logic and some include files are saved in different requests..i saved everything in one request and tried to release it...but it's not getting released.."Repair so, how to delete the object(s) from all the old requests where it is saved? when i attempt to delete the request, it is not allowing saying that changes can't be made to a released request. any other options available? how to go about with this? thanks all.

HI sathish,

1. If the old request is release,

then we cannot do anything.

(There is no point in changing that old request)

(bcos its already released)

2. what can be done is that

u save once again the objects,

and it will once again ask for new request.

3. this time save it in new request

Hi Sathish,

You can only delete request before reelasing. If your object is not released then you can delete provided if there are no dependent objects with the one you are going to delete.

If not Create a new request and move the tasks or object which you require from the Old Request and then try to delete the old request. Try this.

Thanks,

Prashanth

hi,

I tried deleting the object from the old request, but not able to...now, the whole object is saved in a new reqeust, but when i attempt to release it, it says that "repair objects are active in other requests..import protection is still active'...it seems that i have to delete the object from all the old requests in which it is saved and then only transport the new request...but when i tried to delete, it's not allowing...any tcode or procedure to do this?

Hi,

deletion of object from old request is not possible

save all the objects in one request and realese

if you are getting any errors while releasing

check whether all the objects are active and try to

release the request.

Hi

You are supposed to unlock the objects/requests using SU03 before actually deleting them.

Go to SU03 and select Unlock objects(Expert tool) under Requests/Tasks at left pan and execute.

Then enter your request and execute, the request will be unlocked then you can delete the same in SE10.

Hope this solves your problem.

Thanks

Suresh
