How to define Parameter ID for Z-Table fields

Here I am having a requirement of defining <b>Parameter ID </b> for the User defined table fields .- <b>Z - Tables</b>

hi,

Give the field name in datatype and in that you can find the parameter id in the attributes section ... Check out for MATNR datatype.

Hi Chakradhar,

You can assign Parameter Id at Data Element Level.

While creating Data element, go to tabpage "urther Characteristic". Here you find an input field for Parameter Id.

Just give name of Parameter Id.............and cheers...!

Hi,

You can define the parameter id at the data element..

If you want to create new parameter IDs..

You have to add a new entry to the table TPARA.

Go to SM30..GIve table name TPARA.

Then press maintain ...There you can create new parameter IDs

HI,

Goto SE11 and give your table name and

display it.

Then if you want to see the parameter ID

of the particular field means <b>Double click</b>

<b>on the field type of that particular field</b>.

Fields | key | init | Fieldtype

Mandt| **** | **** | <u>Mandt</u>

Just double click on the underline part.

It will take you to a screen, in which

you can find parameter ID.

In the new screen you can see three things

Attributes, Definition ,Fieldlabel

Click Defintion to get Parameter ID.
