How to deactivate a table

Hi freinds,

I have a requirement to deactivate a cutsom table whic his transported to Q and P , can some body tell me how do I do this ?

Hi Srinivas,

Save again your table then it's goes to Active status to Inactive status.

Hi,

go to table in SE11

Change Mode

Change any description of field, put only . or , in description.

save the table.

BUT NOT Activate.

Should we push the transport to Q and P to deactivate the table in Q and P environment ?

Hi bejjanki,

when you have save without activating this table in Dev. System. it will ask for transport request.

transport that request without activating the table to your QA and ProductionSystems.

try to do any changes in the table it and save it ,it ll automatically show you the deactivate position.

The transport system will not transport inactive objects.

I think you simply want to delete it.

If you no longer require the table, delete it in D, and transport the request over to Q and P. If you need the table still there for some very bizarre reason, then using SE14, database utility, use the option to delete the database table, in the Q and P system
